Virtual Library Card

The university library is introducing a new digital service designed to make using the library even simpler and more convenient. Thanks to this development, the library card will be available in digital form in addition to the traditional plastic card.  

The virtual library card can be accessed in two ways.  

One option is to use the Qulto eCard mobile app, which is available on both Android and iOS devices and provides the identification required to access the library.  

    1. Download the app to your Android or iOS device.  

    2. Log in with your library card ID. 

    3. Select “Pécsi Tudásközpont (PTE – CsGyK)” as the institution. Your available library card will appear under the “Library Cards” menu item.  

    4. Use the barcode displayed in the app to check in, check out items, and handle administrative tasks.  

Another option is to use the unique barcode found in your reader account, which is accessible through the library system’s online interface.    

     1. Log in to your online reader account.  

     2. Open the “Identification” menu item. 

     3. Use the barcode that appears to log in, check out items, and manage your account.
