The database provides access to the former British Medical Journal interface and the medical content available there. The BMJ is one of the definitive journals in medicine, but in addition, the online platform acts as a scientific community forum to help ensure up-to-date medical communication. The BMJ offers a wide variety of content, focusing on research, news, perspectives, education and campaigns. In addition to curated journal articles, the platform also offers videos, blog posts and a searchable collection of archived articles going back to 1840, as well as perpetual access to journal content for subscription years.
