From 4 May 2026, members of the university will have access to an artificial intelligence-based tool and a journal database on a trial basis.





Elsevier LeapSpace

This is an AI-powered research platform designed to assist with literature discovery. It uses only curated academic content for the answers, such as peer-reviewed journals and books from Elsevier and its partner publishers, including IOP, Emerald, Sage and NEJM. It is the first platform of its kind to be capable of utilising full-text content in addition to abstracts. Users can also upload their own documents. The generated content is provided with citations. The platform can also be used to identify funding and collaboration opportunities.
